Yellow is widely recognized as the happiest color in the world
As we explore this idea with the children this month, we recognize that the answer to this question is subjective. We did some research on this topic, however, and it is interesting to note that there is a particular color that is scientifically recognized as the “happiest color in the world.” Do you know what color that might be? If you said “yellow,” you guessed correctly! Yellow is associated with sunlight, which is known to elevate our mood and is the natural source of life on the planet. Sunshine breathes life. The idea of sunshine (and the color yellow) correlates with positivity energy, and who doesn’t want more of that? So the next time you find yourself possibly feeling a little low, surround yourself with a splash of yellow and experience a little pick me up from this fantastic color!
