You don’t have to pause your child’s learning

join Mother’s Day out program (Mothers day out MDO) at ExcellED Montessori Plus to prepare your little one for school and life. The MDO program is perfect for stay-at-home parents, parents working part-time, local professionals who run businesses from their homes, telecommute, freelance, or parents who are not ready to send their little ones to a full-time program yet. Mom’s Day Out programs allows parents to catch their breath, finish projects, or finally socialize with other humans above three feet tall.

Me-Time

The Mother’s Day out program provides mothers (and fathers) the “me-time” to their busy schedule while providing their little ones continued opportunities to learn and socialize with other children.

Continued support for your child’s learning

The Mother’s Day Out program will provide your children with a carefully prepared learning environment that helps develop creative, curious, and independent learners. The program is conducted in our 1000-1700 sq feet multi-purpose room/gymnasium.

Goals of the program

Three main goals:
1. Socialization – is an important part of early childhood development. Sharing, working with other children, grace, and courtesy
2. Transition – prepare your child for the transition to a full-time pre-k or kindergarten program. Transitions become more manageable if the child has been acclimated with the schedule, the space, and how to socialize with their peers.
3. Continued Learning – learning and mastering the foundations for reading, writing, number skills, science, and so on

Schedule and Age Requirements

Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Time:  9 AM-Noon
Age Group: Children between 3 and 6 years who are completely toilet trained.

Class Schedule: 2 hours of instruction time (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Arts, etc.), 30 minutes of outside playtime, and 30 minutes for snacks and bathroom breaks.

Instructor

Like all our other programs, MDO is run by our fully trained and certified teachers. They will develop and implement a curriculum to support your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs.
